We Love Animals!
As a devoted advocate of companion animals and a passionate dog lover, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Board of Pleasanton’s Valley Humane Society, a non-profit animal welfare organization, for the last three years. I’m honored to support and play a role in furthering this wonderful organization’s lifesaving work, which provides comfort and care for 600+ Tri-Valley animals each year.
For the last three years, my husband and I have opened our home to host a lively, well-attended fundraiser, Party for the Pooches, to promote and contribute to Valley Humane Society’s mission. Due to the outpouring of donations received for the event’s auctions and raffles, last year’s event generated $16,000 – with 100% of proceeds received by Valley Humane Society. We’re already looking forward to our next fundraising event and breaking last year’s record contributions. Let us know if you’d like to be on the invitation list!
One of my greatest joys is spending time with our two dogs, Kodi and Frankie. Kodi is a 9-year old “puppy” boxer who wants to be loved and touched by everyone. Frankie, we believe, is a Chihuahua and Italian Greyhound mix that’s been a part of our family since we rescued him five years ago. He is quite a bit more shy than Kodi. They are the joys of our life…whether we’re out for a long walk or hiking the nearby trails, these guys are along for the ride. Cozy Sunday mornings with our loves lounging nearby are simply the best!
